With 650 wishes fulfilled by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, American actor and WWE superstar John Cena has established a new record for the most wishes ever granted by the organization.
Cena started his career in professional wrestling in 1999, and since then, he has become one of the most famous sportsmen of all time. He has won the WWE world championship a total of 16 times throughout his stint with the company.
He was often shown as a fan favorite character, and as a result, he has been the face of the “Be a Star” anti-bullying program that the WWE has been running.
After then, it shifted away from WWE and toward Make-A-Wish when he was granted his first wish in the year 2002.
A kid who has been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease may apply for assistance from the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a charitable organization that works to grant the desires of children in this situation.
The program is aimed towards youngsters aged two to eighteen, and participants have the opportunity to meet a celebrity, attend an event, or even donate a present to another person.
The foundation is often mentioned in works of popular culture, such as the movie “The Fault in Our Stars,” which was released in 2013.
As for John Cena himself, he is the star who gets the most requests. In the 42 years that Make-A-Wish has been operating, no one else has ever been able to grant more than 400 wishes.
He said to Reuters, “I don’t care what I’m doing, if you ever need me for this ever, I would quit what I’m doing and be involved because I believe that’s the best thing.”
Cena responded to the honor bestowed upon him for fulfilling 500 wishes by saying, “I simply drop everything.”
“If I am able to provide an amazing experience, you can count on me to be the first in line to do my bit.”
When youngsters finally have the chance to meet Cena, they snap pictures with him, hang out with him, and sometimes even get inside the ring ropes to be closer to him.
Cena is often seen wearing one of his title belts, which include the World Heavyweight Championship, which he has won three times, the United States Championship, which he has won five times, and the WWE Championship, which he has won thirteen times.
Other well-known figures, such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, and Samuel L. Jackson, have also been known to fulfill fans’ requests.

In addition, it was said that he was the only individual to have granted more than 200 wishes; however, this number has been updated to reflect the exact amount of 400 wishes granted.
