The construction of Tian’s house of cards took him exactly five hours and four minutes, reaching a height of 3.37 meters, and winning him the Guinness World Record in the process.
In this day and age, when online video streaming services have become increasingly popular, “House of Cards” is better recognized as a political thriller television series than as a card tower that is constructed by stacking playing cards.
On the other hand, artists who are interested in card stacking believe it to be a serious art form and make it a goal to achieve new feats with each new stack.
A young guy from China has established a new world record by constructing a 50-story house of cards in under five hours and four minutes, beating the previous mark by one minute.
Tian Rui, a card artist from Qingdao in the Shandong Province of East China, began the endeavor at 9:20 in the morning and remained working on it until 4:24 in the afternoon, as stated by Guinness World Records. In a total of 5 hours and 5 minutes, he was able to finish the 50th and final level of house of cards. The home was still standing after more than ten minutes had passed. The elevation of the home is 3,375 square feet.
The effort was carried out as a part of the events held in honor of Guinness World Records Day in 2022.
